Thanks Taz. Wow really? You're coming all the way from Tasmania to ski in Romania? You must really like it here.
So YES, finally my PCX arrived on Friday, and yesterday night I've made the transaction, so it's basically mine, even if I never saw it yet :-S
They said the papers will be available on Thursday so more waiting for me

I guess I'll get my plates on Friday, and get it out for a first run on Saturday.
Next post will hopefully contain real pictures, and some first impressions.

45 days and still I haven't received my PCX
It took 30 days to produce it and ship it over to Romania, and then 15 days and they haven't even got the authentication done. This is why I don't like how our dealers operate.

If Your Dealer is anything like Dealers here in the USA, the problems and delays usually lie elsewhere in the System. Most Dealers being Independently Owned Businesses try to deliver as soon as possible to protect and preserve Their good name insuring a happy Customer base, and repeat Business.....

No, I don't think so. They are being lazy, and it seems to be internal discussions between dealers. They arrived in Bucharest 2 weeks ago, but no dealer in the city wanted to host them for us and make the inicial registration and authentication. They wanted to charge us instead for this and let us handle the paperwork. We refused so they said they will take them to their showroom in another city 120km away and schedule for registration tomorrow. I'm hoping there arent any more delays and Saturday I can go get it.

Yes! Finally got it home this weekend. I couldn't resist taking a few ( 20km) spins down my street, even without the registration and plates. I have a house in the suburbs of Bucharest, and no one passes by my street for hours.
I'll get back to you with pics.

You will be glad that you ordered your 150 with a rack on the back for carrying things. It makes the scooter so much more useful. We have a tail box on ours but you could just add a milk crate to yours to carry groceries and you would be happy. Congrats on your new scooter. We have a red one.

Thank you guys. Yes indeed, we ordered our PCXs' with topcase mounts as standard, included in the offer, to be able to carry groceries and stuff while still being able to leave the helmet, gloves and jacket on the bike.

Thanks....Mel, as you I have too, a red Burgman 400...don't you think that PCX look like a smaller burgman? they are very similar.
We negociated with 4 dealers in our country that the total price of 3000 euro will include the plate for the topcase; we did it when we knowledge that price for it, is amazing amount of 185 euro!!!

So we took the advantage that being in the same city, we joint to form a strong negociating team (I and mr. Hyadum)....we ordered two PCX toghether, so we put some conditions to the dealers, and choosed the one who fulfill better our requests.
I have now only 90km on meter....
Mr.Hyadum, please post for me some photos of my red PCX (I sent to you by e-mail).Thank you!
