Motorcycles have no size limit. Scooters have a limit of 150cc minimum. The pcx 150 is 153cc. Put on a different variator so you can run 75mph and stop thinking about it. The law exists to protect people from riding too slow on the road. There are Chinese 250cc scoots that top out below 65mph. The pcx does not have this problem as we know. In MO I've never been looked at twice in 3600miles

For Michigan: 125cc minimum, no class distinction between scooters/motorcycles.

For what it's worth, I commute into Atlanta a couple of times a week on my PCX when the weather is good. My commute includes more than 10 miles of interstate highways traffic, and I've never been so much as looked at by a cop on the highway. I'd have Freddi ride that PCX on the highway when you guys need to, and not worry about it.

In AZ, they have anything at 150cc+ as freeway legal motorcycle. I have found that the PCX150 is on par to most 250 class motorcycles, in relation to top speed and have far better mileage even though the engine is much smaller. The 250 Honda Rebel goes around 70 mph and my PCX150 topping at 65 on the freeway. I would suggest going to a local Highway Patrol station and ask about the laws directly from those enforcing them.
