For me, the MPG gauge is pretty much right on, and seems pretty consistent around 65 MPUSG. A three gallon tank should thus allow me a bit over 180 US miles, so I fill it up anywhere above 150. The gauge appears far more decorative than useful. Reset the trip meter at each fill up and use distance traveled as your guide.

Besides, how would you do your Fuelly accurately?
