A good thought for our PCX friends in Thailand

Don't worry about us in Thailand. I know it sounds weird but the coup was a good thing. I won't go into the political mess that has been Thailand but I was looking forward to the coup. The two political parties were so far apart that governing had become impossible. If there had been another election, it would have made no difference. I'd say it can only get better but who knows? I have a beautiful Thai wife and love living here, but the Thais don't seem to be able to get out of their own way. Anything you hear about problems and violence take with a grain of salt. It's calm and there are few problems.
