I'd like to say All the Gear, All the Time, but that's not always the case here in hot Dallas.

Bare Minimum around town (typically around 25 mph): M/C Boots, Open Face helmet with shield, gloves, long pants, long-sleeve shirt (but usually (90% of time) have a mesh, armored road jacket on, too). Not the optimal level of protection but enough for me, considering I have no protective gear other than a helmet and gloves when I ride a bicycle at fairly close to the same speeds on the same streets (at least downhill!).

Highway: Always wear armored road jacket and substitute full-face helmet

Have but rarely wear: mesh, armored road pants (they don't fit too well and are a royal PITA to put on/take off)

Oh, and clean underwear, always. (hear that, Mom?)

Shorts, tank-top, slippers and a helmet... 365. :--)

I always used to wear a raincoat and waterproof trousers if it was wet, just whatever when it was dry.

That was until i had my first spill off the bike.
Then my First Collision.

I wear my Spada Armoured Jacket and Trousers and Spada helmut.
They were out of stock of the Hi-Vis Vest but i will get it soon.

I use whatever I'm wearing plus a helmet and gloves

Because it's a scooter and I'm probably popping to the shops

I wear a regluar jacket when it is cool or cold, but no jack in the hot summer. I always wear a hi-vis vest thatt has armor in the back. I wear boots always, as well as riding gloves. I have winter gloves for the winter. I wear jeans in all season, sometimes with long underwear. I have 3 different helmets, each for a different season, but none are full face helmets like maddiedog has. I feel too closed in with those, and I can't turn my head far enough with those helmets to be able to look behind and to my right or left.

Basic mountaineering over pants when it is cold or raining.
Rev'it Kelvin gloves when it is cold.
