There's absolutely no way you need new brake pads after less than 3k miles.

Wow. Those costs are ridiculous. I got a free labour coupon book from the local Honda dealer when I bought my pcx. My first service cost me about $10 for parts, and they dropped and picked me up from work.iceman wrote:Not sure where you are - UK/US? 1st service should be at 600, mostly good to get the 1st oil change done. London dealers quoted me these kind of figures:
First Service (600 miles) £71.75, Second Service (2500 miles or 6 months) £110.00, Third Service (5000 miles or 6 months) £118.00
Fourth Service (7500 miles or 6 months) £125.00, Fifth Service (10000 miles or 6 months) £118.00, Sixth Service (12500 or 6 months) £130.00
Seventh Service (15000 miles or 6 months) £245.00
These prices may not always cover parts i.e. parts not normally part of the service.
I've already pre-booked the 1st service, just not sure how many more I will have done to keep the warranty. As it's the new 2015 model, with unknown's regarding changes and longevity (led lighting panels, etc), I'm waiting to see if service info comes out from users on this forum or the manual is available when the US PCX150 2015 model comes out - UK dealers keep telling me these will not be any paper manuals for customers from now on - it's all on-line for dealers. I think this may not be true for countries outside the UK.

for some reason though it doesnt seem to be riding as 'smooth' as before,
Engine seems to struggle abit,
might just be me though...
but thought getting the Oils changed might 'help' ?
I still haven't had a Service done myself,
so only the first one has been done which was around 1500 miles,
what do you think?
