Few things like, engine mounts, throttle body sensors wiring, position of injector, some head alteration, crank, exhaust header.

The new kit isn't even listed on the site that I just found with contact info. Thanks for the unuseful replies. Just trying to learn a bit about the bikes so I can contribute to the forum and do some of my own modding and give some feedback. Sorry I don't know the f'n secret handshake yet.

so the thing they did mainly is down sized the intake and exhaust valves. so strange, i guess the stock head was built with too big of valves. in theory if you installed this modified head on a bigger cylinder size i bet performance will suck, because then it's not breathing properly. But look at what your getting in the kit...
Buying an extra head with smaller valvs
CAM ** <--probably making a world of difference
val springs with retainers
new rocker rollers
variator
I think this kit is not worth the money. Granted i can hit 77 not sitting up in a head wind but, if i were to add some more mods I could do it cheaper than this kit. My question is whats the price in USD?

Talk to reg,he will explain why it is so,also he has a vid showing a performance of a kit just recently put on youtube. That performance will be impossible with stock 150 head...

150 head is a waste if one is looking for bigger power gains and solid performance...

Ok, I was finally able to pull up the site and I have a question that I think someone else has asked. There are now 2 versions of the pcx 150, since the 2014-2015 version is different from the 2013 version, at least in style and external parts. Is the engine different also? If so, that would mean that version 2 of the pcx 150 is the 2014-2015 version. Will this kit fit the 2013 version? Another question, which the discussion seems to be around, is it worth it?

What do you think, is that quick enough and worth it?
There are a lot of questions that keep going around in the circle, no real technical answer will be given here because no one has any real experience or mods done to their 150...
Just email yuminashi or find him on face book (name given in above posts) and they will give you all information you need to decide what you want and need...

Are the speeds quoted real (gps) or indicated. Why is the video blurred? Most modern cameras would do that clearly?
I don't doubt that this (125?) head on a 150 with better cam gives better performance but I do love the poetic license and....
Just for reference a stock 125 with a performance variator will do an indicated 77-78 mph.(Not my numbers)

I asked some quastions about this kit from Yuminashi, they answered:
If you install the PCX150 2014 Speed Combo then it will have no issues with the idling stop function, so you will be able to keep using this function.
You don't need to do any ECU modifications to work with the Speed Combo.
The only thing you need to use is installing the new manifold that comes with the set.
No, the Speed Combo is specific developed for the stock 150cc engine, if you install the 175cc kit, then you need to use your stock 150cc cylinder head with the larger valves.
These valves are to big to make good performance for the 150cc, that's why we are using smaller valves in the head that comes with the Speed Combo.
If you install the Speed Booster variator on a 175cc kit, then you need to use the 12gr roller weights and not the 9gr weights from the Speed Combo.
I hope this information was a helpful to you Semion!

It seems this combo kit works ONLY with the stock 150cc engine. The main idea of this kit is to rise the compression ratio from 10.6 to 12.5 (say goodbye to regular gasoline, only premium gas can be used), and to rev the engine at the higher rpm zone (I didn't see any numbers yet). The primary clutch with the 9gr weights will keep the high rpm area at all speeds (at full throttle). I think this setup works well, but I think I would like to go bigger size engine, even 190cc with the long-stroke crankshaft. There are some issues with the reliability I suppose. Takegawa big bore kits in this case are more conservative. So, time will tell.

Thanks for the info Reaper.
I too will wait for a 175cc+, before I spend more $ on upgrades.

A few extra cents a gallon to get more power out of the engine and you make it sound like a bad thing?
If I'm gonna Mod my engine, the last thing I am going to be concerned about is how much I pay for gas.
Otherwise, I would just keep the engine stock.
Sorry in advance if I misunderstood your post.
