Stock plug for Forza300 from Honda Canada is $37.47. If I could find Iridium for $20 I'd be happy.

I will be bringing in a thousand NGK sparkplugs for the Forza.
I will cross the border near "the falls" on Tuesday next, 0'Dark:35 GMT.
Look for a brown and blue striped, mostly 1974, American Motors Pacer.
The plugs will be in the giant passenger door, wrapped in Boston Globe Sunday editions.

Why stop at Iridium plugs, dilithium crystal upgrades and flux capacitors, try this:

Re: Why no Iridium in the 2014 Forza?
A few days ago I ordered a plug thru eBay. My order was just cancelled by the UK company as they will not have any plugs until October???
I am good for 7000 km on my current plug. I ride a lot so I better find a place to get one.
But where???

Re: Why no Iridium in the 2014 Forza?
Many find the original stock plugs last way past the service interval - I've not checked mine on my PCX and I've ridden it every week-day (bar holiday) all weathers for over 2 years and it starts and rides like a dream - currently on 146mpg real!

Did Honda mess up and make the spark plug really hard to get to on the pcx?
It's easy on the Forza. ..it is behind a special little panel.
But then...have also come across owners here who don't bother with looking at the dipstick....if oil not pooling under their scooter.

My Forza is on 31,000 miles and I'm fairly sure the spark plug has never been changed.
Four decades on two wheels has taught me nothing, all advice given is guaranteed to be wrong

Re: Why no Iridium in the 2014 Forza?
Easy to understand - the guy that's worried can calm down as the one he has will probably last for ages - enough time for his new one to arrive. Regards my pcx - not bothered checking/changing yet as the bike starts and rides like a dream and the gauge is showing me 147mpg so I reckon real figures of 144-145 (which I got last month). So, why change things if everything is running so well?fish wrote:I don't understand. Did Honda mess up and make the spark plug really hard to get to on the pcx? I may change the plug and the air filter at 10 or 12'000 miles (I'm on 9100 for 27 months riding). Nothing to do with cost (about £5) just no point if everything is running perfectly. Only issue is a noisy rear bearing(s) which seems to be a stock fault on the PCX (wonder if clutch replacements will suffer the same problem). Only had 1st service done so no warranty fix, but saved £900 is dealer service charges over 2 years!
