my local manned station knows me so dont have to un lid to use it
tend to pay at pump more though as very rarly carry cash
or if i do its tiny amounts just enough for papers and a pack of mints

Never a problem fueling with the helmet on and I do dismount to do this using the center stand. OriginalRocket's idea of fueling on the side stand is interesting though. May have to give it a shot.

Unless you fill to the brim, the angle of lean makes little difference. Hard to fill it that far without the force of fuel spilling all over, as least with UK pumps I've tried.
