Schuberth C3 with additional reflector film. Quiet modular, fog free pin lock, pop down sunvisor, huge eye port, and the most aero helmet on the market.

Great helmet!! Worth the money (if you have it).
I Saw a White C3 recently on Craigslist in size small. Most times I wear a small, but somethings telling me that the C3 runs small(er) than small. Am I right in thinking that sendler?
(I Just now looked over at CL and the C3 is gone. Ah well, missed that one. Can't remember the asking price either).

I remember when we bought mt daughter's C3 that we went by the manufacturer's measurements and ordered extra small but had to exchange it for small.

No idea what the Shubeth's of the world are like as never tried one on, but my £40 helmet is very comfy (good padding), not too noisy at 45mph and 8 months on looks like new. I gather higher cost helmets may be quieter at high speed (my cheap helmet gets four stars on the sharp website).

Ah...it is as I thought then: If you're normally a small, then you should step up to a size medium in the C3. Very good to know. Thanks for your example :) Oh, and stay warm, it's cold out there!!

Does anyone in the US know where they sell the red Icon Variant Helmets at all?
i've tried looking all over the internet and most places are sold out....
I don't mind getting one from the US as long as it can be sent as a gift with the price lower etc to lower the customs charges as i'm in the UK,
only one I can get here is on eBay, which is the solid black gloss one,
i'm hoping to get the red 2014 PCX so would really prefer the red Variant Helmets.

Got the Variant after... gloss black, chrome Visor,
getting some chrome vinyl for it too but for now i've printed/cut an example (to work out the size I want)
due to my OCD I have to have things symmetrical, but due to my Camera, I can't... so i'm hoping it doesnt annoy me too much.

Even though I like Hi-Viz riding gear. That helmet is bad ass! Your graphics will be cool too.

Wow! That helmet is the exact opposite of aerodynamic. Don't cross winds or head checks feel like it is yanking your head off? I hope you have good ear plugs.

No wind noise at all... plus the extra visor on top doesn't seem to make a difference which is good :D

They sell a lot of Icons here. They make them look very good. The only complaint I ever heard was getting the shields off and on is a real pain but I personally don't know. I have an iridium shield like that on most of the time but use the clear towards evening and it takes maybe 15 seconds to change on mine.

I had a little trouble with 1 side, couldn't get it to snap on properly but yeah.. other than that.. not hard at all,
I read some people saying about the hassle to change,
it's simply taking off the 2 plastic bits, unscrew 2 screws, snap the Visor off, snap the new one on, and redo the screws and plastic bits.

Tinter/Chrome visors and such are not legal on the road in the uk - ok until you are stopped or in an accident.

I've always had tinted Visors, even on my CBT...
and used to have chrome ones as well,
I still have the clear one anyway which i'll keep in the Bike.

Just got my vinyl for the Helmet, not 100% but it's better than plain black I think...

the side ones look white in some photos but it is actually chrome,
only the very back and top ones are white.

Too bad it's not reflective. The helmet is the best area to try to get some conspicuity. White, hi-viz, or loads of white reflector tape.
