Iceman, once the bolts are loosened dont take them all the way out that way if you hit them to hard they won't fly across the room or fall and scratch the paint!! Use a rubber hammer or small metal hammer and tap them it might take a few tries mine did but they will come loose the bars should remain in place. The best way is to do one at a time then you have no worries. If you use a metal hammer cover them with a rag or something, if you don't they will scratch and dent.

If you change bars like i did this is important pay attention to what you are doing, better yet have someone holding the bars, when the bars are free they will rotate down and scratch the paint if not held in some way.

Thanks Drifter. I'll have to have another look as I thought they were recessed in and a bit tricky to get out, seems I was wrong on that part.

I'm trying to think of a Fine tipped tool. Maybe (?) a wood toothpick or a Dentist's picking tool (used carefully)?
