I have to wonder if that lady knew anything at all about safety, also. Before I could ride on base in the military I had to go through a safety course. Riding a motorcycle is not just jumping on it and opening the throttle, as she obviously learned.
Currently own:
Red 2013 Honda PCX150

Givi tall windshield & tailbox - Lots of extra lights
Custom seat from Thailand - Bad Boy Airhorn
Takegawa Lowering Shocks - Michelin City Grip Tires
Headlight assy upgraded to LEDs w/HS5 main bulbs
NCY variator, drive face, and rollers

My point is the PCX isn't a big bike and you need to learn how to ride it.
Remember that the rear brake also operates the front brake.
Four decades on two wheels has taught me nothing, all advice given is guaranteed to be wrong

Wow! How are you feeling today? Better I'm hoping. That was a bad break (no pun intended). It probably was your new-ness to the combi-brakes and maybe some road mess? You gave them a good pull and the rest....well is history. Moving forward now, right? :P
If your will n health is intact, please continue to ride as you have for many years. You will adjust to your new beast, take your time enjoy the PCX it is a blast of fun! Afterall, you can't have the wife rolling by without yours close by ;) Welcome aboard the forums :P

It's really simple. Scooters are easier. That their whole point. The're not idiot proof though.
