MY POINT IS never had a problem on big bikes. just seemed very strange to me

I have to wonder if that lady knew anything at all about safety, also. Before I could ride on base in the military I had to go through a safety course. Riding a motorcycle is not just jumping on it and opening the throttle, as she obviously learned.

My point is the PCX isn't a big bike and you need to learn how to ride it.
Remember that the rear brake also operates the front brake.

o ok .u didn't make that point clear. that's kinda what my thoughts were. different animal different ride.maybe going from bikes too scooters isant so easy. ya I don't spell good

Wow! How are you feeling today? Better I'm hoping. That was a bad break (no pun intended). It probably was your new-ness to the combi-brakes and maybe some road mess? You gave them a good pull and the rest....well is history. Moving forward now, right? :P
If your will n health is intact, please continue to ride as you have for many years. You will adjust to your new beast, take your time enjoy the PCX it is a blast of fun! Afterall, you can't have the wife rolling by without yours close by ;) Welcome aboard the forums :P

3 weeks off work and scoot. then back at it. yes it is a blast too ride and 100 mpg is great

It's really simple. Scooters are easier. That their whole point. The're not idiot proof though.
