I disagree with PCXdemon. If someone can prove me wrong that has actually stretched their bike, I'll be the first to admit I'm wrong.

I have also had my engine out, and I cannot fathom how the cables would possibly reach. There was very little slack in anything, including all the wiring, fuel lines, and throttle.

I don't know of any users in the US or UK that have done PCX stretches. You might be able to ask on totalruckus, that site is really popular for stretched Ruckuses, and I know a few PCXes are over there. They might be able to give you better advise.

Why not try it? It shouldn't be the hardest thing in the world.. A fuel line can be extendedand a cable can be replaced

Just sent a message to my mate who is a vehicle fabricator to see if he would be up for the challenge. :-)

Its one of these jobs that require mates rates or do it yourself. It would cost a fortune for a garage to do a mod like this as you couldn't probably put a time on it. It takes as long as it takes.

Fair enough, well my mate says its more likely to be an hourly rate rather than a fixed cost so I'll wait till next month when I get paid again :-)

find a mate that wouldn't charge you. Or at least only charges in beers
