Iceman, I would normally agree with that statement, but Honda in their tech splurb say that the rubber fitted on new scoots have a lower rolling resistance than "normal" rubber? This is to increase fuel economy, plus super grip for city commute, how this works is beyond a lowly motorcyclist of 54 years like me.
I do not know what the previous owner did/used the scoot for but as stated the tyre was worn out in the centre by 5850.
I have never been "off" or near to it on the original tyres, bur traversing white lines was interesting in the last 100 miles.

I pushed my original IRC rear to 10,000 miles. The original front is still on at 18,000. The replacement Michelin CityGrip rear is very well worn after 8,000. It doesn't look like it will have lasted any longer than the IRC.

Not sure if it's true for scooter tyres, but the trainers I did my CBT with said scooter tyres have a mix of rubber - hard on the centre and softer going outwards for cornering. Maybe that is what Honda were implying.

I've never read anything about the IRC or Michelin scooter tires being multiple compound like the Pilot road tires are for the bigger bikes.

Who is that guy?

His name is Wiener and he texted his johnson to someone who then exposed him to the press. He was married to one of Hilary Clinton's personal advisers. Ironic... pure poetry. Lesson learned, don't text your johnson.

Homie summed it up nicely

I had the brilliant idea (inspired by homie's cuckoo's nest emoticons

) to use different Wiener pics as my own personal emoticons

And for a joke, this poll has had surprising staying power and some probative value actually. For example, it's noteworthy to see that as the poll currently stands a full 70% of voters have never gotten off - this is very reassuring but there are more results to come I'm sure
