Ah, I love Glenfiddich. Great stuff. I bought a bottle for each of my groomsmen as gifts for helping with my wedding. I regretted not buying myself a bottle.

Sorry about the post above. Somehow I mistook this thread for today's picture thread. I now see it's aimed at impromptu photos. Feel free to delete the message.

Thanks! Yet I'm a little bit disappointed nobody got that corny rhyme ("Going down that long lonesome highway."). Anybody?

I rest my case, apparently scooter people have never heard about this particular kind of Bronson. Not Bronson the martial artist, but Bronson the biker (Michael Parks). It was a 1969 TV serial about a James Dean look-alike, who ditched his comfortable job and set out for the road. It was called "Then Came Bronson". The pilot featured also Bonnie Bedelia, later of Die Hard. Michael Parks road a red Harley-Davidson Sportster with an ominous batch of the all-seeing eye on his fuel tank.

Apart from the movie actor the only other Bronson I've heard of is the UK's most violent prisoner.

1969 is roughly 20 years before I was born, way before my time.

Sprog.
Looks like I started riding motorbikes 12 years before you were born.

So why the **** I know about the show? I was 2 years old when it first aired. Guess I'm just comfortably old (or numb).

Things were a lot weirder in 1969.

Thanks, Gn2. That's much better. I'm an old fart. I still love my Columbo.
