Maybe that explains why the 1st few sites I found on google said out of stock

- perhaps they sent back all the old faulty ones. If you were supplied with duds, sned them back.

Maybe, they said it was small batch, whatever that is?
Based on the tone of their email, they're just going to send me out the correct bulbs when they get stock.
So I'm just going to keep the backwards bulbs in until the new ones arrive, since they are a pain to change.

I've found a few sites around the web that have HS5 bulbs, but they vary in appearance so much that I'm a little concerned about the quality.
One set I have found that looks really interesting is here on Amazon:

I like the price, but since there are no reviews and not much other information, I'm going to hold off on making a purchase.
I also saw these, also on Amazon:

I've not seen any name brand HS5 bulbs by Philips or Osram, so you take what you can get it in 5000k, or just buy the OEM part...
Nearly all the HS5 socketed LED lights have banana clips on the wires with no compatible plug. Good luck with that one!
Basically you go halogen or stuff around with HIDs.
