Off the bike the tire is exactly 140mm at is widest points. One other thing, does the mainstand still keep the rear wheel off the ground with the bigger tires fitted?
I am fairly confident that the bead was not pressed against the rim when mounted before inflating, which should indicate that there would be minimal to no pinching.

Regarding the center stand issue, there is still clearance of the rear wheel off the ground. I also mounted a 70 profile tire/tyre on the front, not the 60. Logically it would seem if a 60 were put on the front and a 70 on the back, clearance space would be less, but I think it would actually be the opposite because with a lower profile front, the bike would lean further forward, thus creating more space at the rear wheel. But I am prepared to be told that my thinking is all wrong about that. :o

Personally speaking, I have found the larger tires to be much better for handling, particularly when leaning the bike. As has been suggested above, maybe some of us are overthinking this.
No, you are right about the front/rear/mainstand issue, Chicaboo correctly made comment of that in another post. Well maybe I'll test fit them and take a look since I have the tires already, can always swap them back. Any chance of a rear wheel pic from directly behind when you have a spare moment? Thanks for all the info :)
Meanwhile I took this pic of the city grips, from L to R 90/90-14, 110/80-14, 120/70-14, and the 140/7-14

Here is the best I can do K2. Not very good, but hope it helps. I doesn't seem like any pinching is happening.

Yep that's a good piece of rubber on the rear for PCX.

I'm getting a YT channel request today for a detailed video modification and application of the 140/70/14 Michelin to include the air box spacers and fender lift parts and placement.
I thought I did that already, the whimsical video LOL, not good enough?

Video was great homie, but the tire was in shadow mostly, or the camera was zoomed or focused in on the spacer mods to get a good look at it. I wanted to see how the tire 'sits' on that rim ans see if any width is lost to pinching. I love the whimsical lol. Cheers Buddy.
