Have you actually confirmed that fitting the oem tyre to a wider rim is safe...?
Check this out:
PCX front tire width is 90/90, rear tire width is 100/90..
According to the pic above, PCX oem front wheel width is 1.85 and 2.15 for the rear, and it's fine if we upgrade the wheel size to 2.15 front and 2.5 rear...
So that's why changing my wheel wider makes me more confident...

That chart just suggests that it might OK to fit the tyre to a wider rim.
To have any real validity the chart needs to have been published by the tyre manufacturer IRC.
The chart clearly says you should contact the manufacturer for fitment information.
Also, the referenced chart does not give any indication whatsoever that "grip" and "traction" will be in any way affected by using a wider rim.
So your confidence remains misplaced.

Oh, I'm sorry, what I really meant was: fit any tyre you like, I don't care a flying fuck.
Better?

Then standard tyres on the PCX are fine. You can fling the PCX around bends and it never steps out of line. And these are roads full of potholes and sheep.
I would never say not to, I would probably just do it for the hell of it but it is not going to increase your contact patch with the road by much if not anything at all. So I can't see it making much difference.

I'd say that's an improvement for GN2. We're like his therapy to try to work out his old crotchetyness.

Another muffler modification I did during this weekend.
Check this out...
I replaced the oem Honda PCX 150 muffler with oem Honda Blade 110 muffler...
I don't know about the power change, but I do like the design...

Oh yeah, that does look cooler than stock, it's much more streamlined. Was it bolt-on, or did you have to modify it?

You can get them from powerbypcx:
http://www.powerbypcx.com/achat-dossere ... 52277.html
Other vendors carry them, but powerbypcx is more reputable in my opinion.
