I am terribly sorry you've had such a difficult experience.

I would encourage you to repost the video and make it public. It could be a help to others and maybe serve to bring some good out of a bad situation.

I will now see long shadows in front of me as absolute certainty i'm invisible to merging cross traffic. In Chicago streets run east and west from lake Michigan until you are in the boonies. In the early morning heading west and sunset heading east... long shadows. Thanks Drew for the post, every incident has a story and rarely caught on camera so clearly.

Once I've the replacement bike sorted, I will post a permanent public video. Events are still on-going so I am just being careful.
