Hi Mel well you know here actually the largest employer of the village is an hospital however not all the wards are available, in our case we are waiting a baby and we will go at the Lausanne public one 8 km away from here, but there are tons of options...believe me I have been traveling quite a bit and the Swiss healthcare system is unbelievably great never seen so many checks for a pregnancy and we are waiting now our second baby..Mel46 wrote:My wife and I are always wishing we could live in a place that is quite like yours. Unfortunately, the reality is that when you have leukemia you have to be near big hospitals. To add to that, after 6 back surgeries I have to be near a pain specialist, which is near a big hospital. So, essentially, I have to live close enough to a large medical facility that it wouldn't take me long to get there. That is a real 'downer' for me because I would prefer to live in a small village like in those pictures.
By the way, how do two cars pass each other on those small roads??
That is a road that I like to take avoiding the main road would be mainly for residents and the winemakers and locals but even on the main roads there are points where can pass a vehicle at time... we do not know what traffic is here and we can breath the fresh air of the Alps that are all around.. on a clear day Mt Blanc would be visible...
the day of the pics was cold and cloudy not a good one I ll show others pics on a sunny day and other circumstances and you ll see
