I think it says somewhere that you're supossed to use oil with molybdenum, right?
I buy the 10w30 fulll syn Honda branded oil w/ molybdenum...
PROS: cheap overall, as each oil change isn't even 1 quart of oil!
CONS: it's likely still a huge waste of money from any other full synthetic option.
DECISION: for the time being, buy from local dealers to stay in the loop and network with people that should be my best friends.

Re: Oil Grade and Viscosity, Which one best?
You guys know, also that car repair shops will only have 1 viscosity of oil in stock, say 5-30, and put that in everything... Regardless of manufacturer's specs. They're all somewhat interchangeable, esp. in a pinch... But for long term usage, I'm going to follow the manufacturer.

Use the slippery kind of oil.pepito86 wrote:And for somebody like me, who does not know anything about scooters, the question still has no answer...
The sticky stuff is no good.
Whatever it says in the manual, use that.
(ANY 10w30 or 10w40 motor oil will be fine)
