Hi cocteau2x, just thought I'd share a pic of my custom seat put on my previously owned Piaggio MP3.
I had it done in a Harley trim/upholstery shop in Florida. The color blue on this scooter was much desired. There were fewer of them, so harder to find. Yeah it was really nice (imo) and just a shade or two lighter than your Blue Beauty

The seat was made in Marine Vinyl (the quality was so good, it looked like leather). The criss-cross box pattern was not a mesh (no holes in it), it was just a pattern in a deep goldish/silvery color (it had that subtle color change appearance depending on where you stood). Like some cars finishes look today
The solid black was lovely, between a matt and low sheen. Got the backrest to match it. I was Very happy with it's outcome. Enough with the chatter, here it is

I wonder what the whole story is with the Elephant taxi farm. Hanging out with the beasts? Neat job, and a I bet these creatures get on pretty good with people in general but then there is youtube.
