Thanks for your answers. I was able to get him to drop the freight and handling charges. So he will sell it to me for $3399 plus taxes, and registration (i.e. government stuff). The reason he came down is because their competition also has a 2017 PCX. And the competition quoted me a sale price of $3299 and he would waived freight and handling. I called the first dealer who had originally quoted me $3399 plus $150 freight and $50 handling, and asked if he could match this price. He said he didn't know how they could sell the PCX for $3299, but that he would sell me the PCX for $3399 and waive the freight and handling fees. I decided to go with the first dealer (the one with the higher price) just because it's only a $100 difference, and I liked him. I told him I would be in Tuesday morning, which was two days ago. I did not show up. I hope he's not mad. The reason I didn't show up is because I found a 2013 Sym Citycom 300i with 400 miles that was a smoking deal. I went to my credit union to get a loan for the Citycom, but they turned me down. They said my credit card balances were too high, which is true. I have four credit cards, and they all are almost maxed out. So my last hope now is Honda finance. I have an excellent payment history. I have never missed a payment on any of my cards, etc. I am under the general impression that it will be easier to get financed by Honda finance because they will mainly just check my credit score whereas the credit union looked closely at everything and wanted income verification. Anyway, the very next day after getting denied for the Citycom, I found a 2008 Buddy 150 for sale for $1100. I test-drove it, and loved it. Fast as hell. But it seemed to have a weathered appearance which made me wonder if it had been stored outside, or if the 2200 miles were false. It has the analog odometer. Somebody could have disconnected the cable and rode it for years like that. I offered him $800, and he of course said no. I could have gotten an $1100 loan from a bank, I think, despite the high credit card balances because I have a 1993 Ford truck that I can use as collateral. So now barring a used Buddy 150 coming onto Craigslist at a bargain price, I will be getting the PCX. It is the last bullet in my chamber. No other options for me. But it's not a bad option. I really liked the PCX.

If you've never missed a payment on your 4 cards, you could try asking your creditors for a credit limit increase. A low credit utilization (credit used divided by overall credit limit) is like 35% of your credit score and one of the only real things you can do to help your score within just a month or two. If the creditors will not increase your limits... try making multiple payments in a month, and that will also help your score a little bit, then the creditors will perhaps be more likely to increase your limits, which will increase your score even more.

Good credit scores are for people who don't need credit. Think about that one...
