Well, due to a couple of really big medical scares my wife has been informed by her doctors that it is no longer safe for her to chance riding on her scooter. It seems that when your platelet count gets down to zero you have a chance of bleeding to death. They pulled her from the brink twice in a month, so I guess her bike will be going up for sale...but first I want to change her headlight bulbs, if I get the time. (I already have the replacement bulbs.)

Good luck Mel, I trust your wife is recovering, and hopefully you will be able to take the occasional solo ride.

My wife has informed me that she would like one more ride, once she is well. We will see.

JohnL - I read in the other post that your wife has been declared OK now from the cancer. Good news!
