Engine is air and oil cooled.
Very simple design, easy maintenance.

They do look nice. I’d struggle to choose one. Black and red I think...

Yep, they look exactly like a proper motorbike should, difficulty for me would be deciding Interceptor or Continental GT.

As I've mentioned here before the closest Royal Enfield dealer to me is about an hour away. . ..

Here's are links to their current inventory. I noticed the Classics are almost all gone and no more Bullets in stock. I do like the look of the "Classic". Nothing like it on the road anymore. For performance though I'd take the INT650.

That said the Himalayan and new 650's are in fairly good supply. Not sure about the difference in prices though. Maybe it has to do with the paint jobs or something. If you select one of the models with a "real" photograph there will be more photos to look at taken at the dealership . . .. 8)

How did this go from a 150cc major brand scooter being discontinued in Canada, to we should buy a much bigger off brand 650cc motorcycle that has no dealer Support?

I don’t get it…??

Make that Change

You're right Glen, we do need to get back on topic. I'm guilty of changing topics midstream too, but then realize it's time to get back - "Hang a Huey." :P We mean no harm. But,...now agree! it's time to Hang That Huey ;) it's Nice that members offer help and suggestions to others. No denying that.

No more PCX's! Thank you Honda of Canada (Not!) I'm Sorry this happened xixon.
What will you do next? Any plan in mind? Is there another brand scooter dealer nearby? :(

Hurray for the EU on that, warranty is automatically transferable between EU countries.

Very simple, its due to discussion of an alternative.
I suggested the Himalayan would be perfect for exploring Canada and that led to the 650 twins.

Nope, the last year they were available was 2016. I asked my dealership why Honda wasn’t carrying the PCX or Forza anymore, as they still manufacture them.

He said it comes down to money, apparently scooters don’t sell well in Canada. We (the Canadian scooter riders) are a rare breed. Lol

I think there are more than "one" motorcycle/scooter markets that companies have to analyze.

One market has consumers that are more concerned about using them to get from point A to point B as transportation . . . and not just for one but for other family members as well.

Another market has consumers that are focused on image and performance. Not so much on pure "transportation". Add to that other contributing factors like a sense of rebellion, the need to seek adventure on the "freedom machine", ride a "legend", to have the (choose one or more) biggest, fastest, most expensive, ground shaking, awe inspiring, shock and awe attention getting machine, and a need to perhaps find oneself . . . whatever that is.

And the list of other consumers and markets goes on . . ..

With the entrance of more sophisticated electronic motorcycles and scooters onto the stage floor we are seeing more efforts to accommodate that need amongst consumers as well. It will be interesting to see how all that develops (including the power grids to support the increase in demand for "more power").

Scotty will come to the rescue though right?

My 2013 PCX has only 6200 KMS (4000 miles) so I figure since I'm 61 years old now, my next scooter will be like this one

Hah! My 2013 sadly only has 10,000km. I love this bike. It saves me short trips to work in my cage. Occasional runs to neighboring towns is great fun and exploring back roads in SW Ontario is great.
