Have you noticed effects of salt air on your scooter?

Yup. . .salt air is corrosive indeed.

Washing and waxing. . .most importantly waxing is a ritual. . .especially on anything chrome. Aluminum needs to be polished as well with a good metal polish like Semi-Chrome or Mother's stuff.

It's late April already and I havent had three rides This global warming is just amazing isn't it? No springtime, straight to summer and the riding season will be a short one apparently. It snowed overnight and I just want to ride my motobike.... what the hell

I wish it was. (raining) Middle of May-temps of 26-30C and not a single drop of rain this year.

It rained here tonight, it was intense, it was very very windy, it thundered with lightening, about 120,000 electric customers in my state out of power, trees downed, and it's all over now. Calm has restored at least for awhile. The sky was a weird orange looking color. . .hard to explain. . .just before dark as the storm did it's swan song.

Yes, the weather was Unstable. Later the sky lay over us like an orange-pink dome. I swore we were having a visitor! Of course I ran out in me slippers and zapped a few pics Before the storm really hit.
We had the thunder, lightening, winds not as severe as our other Island counties. They had what You had PCX150Rider. Huge and small Trees down, powerlines too. Several cars were crushed. Horrible storm!! I kept hearing about hail and tornado's, but unsure where or if that occurred.
I had prepped and turned off a few major appliances, A/C, dehumidifier, tv etc.
I'm thankful my family, friends and neighbors faired nature's wrath once again!

I stood and watched it coming as the wind increased and everything started going haywire. Couldn't even get any TV reception over the antenna because the atmosphere was so messed up.

All I can say about today is "Quack Quack".

Yup. . .I watched all of it after I posted it and then realized it may not be appreciated by everyone. So I did delete it. Have to admit though I do like that movie.

Not to disappoint. . .here is something else. . .and in a similar context that I think would be more universally appropriate. Have a nice day!

"Encore" is all I can say . . .. And it does.

Meanwhile, we in the southern states are cooking. When it hits 90°F here you can bet that the humidity will be above 50%, which meansit Feels like 100° or higher. Even riding in just a tee shirt will have you sweating in no time. Imagine what it is like in a jacket.

I remember my GA vacations in the days of yore well. Lake Oconee and Greenville and areas. The Magnolias have come and gone right?

Boiled peanuts anyone? Some of those back roads have turned into regular highways with all the development down there in the last few decades. The local peddlers have been pushed off their road side stands. GA does get hot.

Maybe you should head up to Helen and tube the Chattahoochee!
