I left charger on when i was not riding as I do ride over winter. However it has been on a month non stop with no issues. Just attach the supplied lead to battery terminals and the connector can sit underseat in storage bin

just a quick weather report from sunny North East England (that's right I said Sunny! o_O - and windy and blinking cold)

Temperature at 6am was -5c(23F)

currently at 4c(39F) with a wind chill of -2c(28F) but the ground temperature hasn't managed to get above freezing point all day.

Roads round here are icy and very dangerous, I think it's been the same right across Britain today - so to all UK riders - Take Care :)

It warmed up again here in Georgia, USA. My commute in was overcast, 50 degrees. Hoping the cold holds out. o_O

Its getting pretty cold up here now. Will not be to long until i finish work to find my bike covered in snow, Its either PCX or walking though so just got to get up early and take a ride round the street to test it out each day.

It didn't get above freezing all day on Monday.
Chilly chilly.
Have had to zip the thermal liner back into my suit.

I take it you're riding through the whole winter, GN2? Will you commute the whole time, or will you have to drive a car eventually?

Once upon a time it would have been two wheels regardless, but I'm older and wiser now.
If there's snow and ice about and you have the choice of a luxury AWD car or a PCX....?
Actually I'm looking to trade the Jag for something a bit more economical but it will be a reluctant sale, I love the old beast.

Yep, the CEO of Corsport didn't like what I think of people who use stupidly loud exhaust pipes.
Well that was what finally caused the ban hammer to swing my way, there had been a private exchange of views for a time beforehand.
I have absolutely no complaint, as I said before on their site, it's up to them what they allow to be posted on their URL and who they allow to do so.
I wish them well for the future and hope that their business thrives.

Hm, I didn't know they had banned you. Even though you are opinionated and like to be direct about it, your information there was still really helpful. I had made it publicly known to them that I'd leave if you were banned, shame I didn't know or I would have left sooner. Banning you certainly didn't do anything for the site or for helping people learn more about the PCX... It just reduced the number of skeptics against performance parts.

I'm glad they lifted your ban though, because that's probably how you got the PM from me telling you about this place. :P

I haven't bothered to check for my account. For some reason, they thought you were associated with me, so maybe they're still mad. Who knows...

I hope they unban you though, you really got shafted. I was shocked when they did that. :(

NOTHING TO SEE HERE, CITIZEN. MOVE ALONG.

:P

I find it funny how their moderator only has 20-something posts... And there's spam on the site now...

Anyways, let's avoid continuing talking about the other forum, it won't get us anywhere. :)

35 degrees this morning.

I wore underwear, long underwear, sweatpants, then my nice work pants. Boots with two pairs of socks. Gloves. Undershirt, polo, hoodie, motorcycle jacket (corazzo), then a leather jacket over that. I stayed pretty warm, the sun certainly helped... I definitely need to install my heated grips though, I froze my fuckin hands off.

Hmm strange...
My Pcx has been hooked up to it's battery charger, and I havnt ran the bike for a couple weeks now but when I tried to start it just it really struggled, took about a minute of coughing and twisting the throttle for it to start.
