All things can be done with a service manual. You might not have the time, tools or patience but they can be done Glad you had a good ride. I'm going to keep getting out there until it gets below 50 degrees. Many good days left in the Chicagoland area yet.

Just did this job and can confirm that on my newer 2016 model there are some slight changes (plastic pat tabs, the actual adjuster is moved to a slightly easier location albeit still under the fairing.) My thanks to the OP for his guide as it did prove very helpful!
