Re: Hello
Buzzer for turn signal. I did forget about indicators few times. I have to switch over from Kymco, where indicators relay was making quite loud ticking sound.
First refueling behind me. 2.22 l/100km . It's OK for the first few kilometers and 817km on the odometer. I need to get used to new machine.

I'll wait with the change to my 1000km service. Should be next week anyway...

Re: Hello
These tyres look very good!!! I'm sure that they will be very effective when cold/wet. When you install them, please let us know how they behave
And, when you receive/install the buzzers, we would be grateful if you indicate how you install them, and if you like their sound

Re: Hello
So I've got first service (1000km) behind me. Quite expensive with valves clearance check...
And I have new tires mounted.
VERY first impression: How the heck did they make tires from glue ?!?
And those are 4-season tires NOT winter ones.

Re: Hello
They look GREAT on the bike!!! I'm really happy to read that they stick to the road, and we look forward to hearing how much they last, as even if they are softer/less durable, if their grip is better than the originals, it would be an excellent option

Re: Hello
So first 'winter' ride today. Temperatures like 0 to -2 Celsius in the morning. I got new jacket and additional neck warmer. And Tucano muffs .
Pretty OK ride. Though if I would have to drive more than current 19 km I would get cold. Still no proper trousers and I must reconsider boot options .
Muffs work fine, but operating switches on the steering bar is kinda PITA.
And my helmet has ... drafts... Pity as it wasn't the cheap one HJC model, RPHA MAX Evo.
In total, the ride wasn't bad but could be improved in some points. As the old saying is: there is no bad weather - only bad clothing.

Re: Hello
Here we are still enjoying a kind of late summer (22ºC) but I'm sure that in some weeks we will get really cold... I also use the scooter all year round, and I must admit that proper winter clothing is essential
Note: I'm sure that these new tires are going to perform flawlessly!!

Re: Hello
This is how it looks with Tucano muffs:

Unfortunately I have to stay at home with my ill son this week, so I'm missing riding in cold air.
I think I'll need an ice scraper for my PCX.
There is quite some frosting o the cars in the morning. I can see that from my window.

[quote="wojtek_pl"]I just received brand new Heidenau K66 4-season tires.
What are the exact types of your tires? Your weather conditions are similar whith mine, I am thinking on the replacement of the factory tires for the winter season, but didn't find Heidenau K66 in the PCX's official size (90/90 and 100/90).

Tamas

Re: Hello
No problem with the PCX size. I have 4-season with the same thread pattern as winter tires. Only difference is the compound.t2t wrote:What are the exact types of your tires? Got them here:

http://www.oponeo.pl/dane-opony-motocyk ... f#73979020
They say those are summer tires but on Heidenau official website they are listed as 4-season. And they had to import them from Germany I believe, as I had to wait a week. Not a big issue anyway.
Yeah, those muffs work. Though it was only one trip to work but my hands were nice warm in gloves. No wind chill effect which is A BIG difference. There are also cheaper Oxford muffs but those are REALLY BIG and would look strange .pcxpower wrote:I'm sure that they must be very effective!!!
