Update: I managed to get one and placed a deposit on it. Honda cannot officially sell a Forza (or a Grom or a few other things they said) at the moment because of the fuel pump recall being a safety item until they get them fixed (it could suddenly quit going 70 mph). That works out perfectly for me. :D The negative is I didn't get an ABS version I would have really liked. The positive is I saved $1129 US over what it would have cost two days ago. No destination fee and only $199 total reg/doc fees.

The toughest part of this Forza deal so far has been convincing my wife that I still need the PCX for camping, etc. with the RV. I am slowing working on her. :P

I am now wondering what Honda may have in the pipeline for the Forza 300 post 2014?

It has the official SOLD tag on it.

I guess the 28.7" Givi windshield is best? The Honda upgrade one is only 24".

Idle stop, bigger tank, better fuel economy, more legroom would be nice :)

Yes - I measured the leg room as about 1" more than my PCX like some others. Still short for tall folks and Forza seats are a bit steeper than PCX.

Looks like I will go with the GIVI D1123ST 28.7" windshield. The US mail order price seems to be about $152 everywhere I have looked w/ free shipping no tax. Anyone know of a less expensive online retailer?

Nice.

So you got out of there for roughly 4800?

Anxious to hear your impression of that vs. PCX once you get some seat time in. We should still have a bit of decent riding weather left for you. Hopefully it's not a month till they get the fuel pump fixed.

Seems like a good price. Nice work.

Did they give you a projected ETA on the fuel pump repair?

Two weeks was the official estimate from Honda. I am ordering a Givi tall windshield for it which will take a week or so. We get occasional days in the 50s all winter long but Nov and Dec can have some nice 60+ F days.

I wonder if I could have pushed them a little harder. Their last and significant price cut happened to coincide with the recall - maybe by design. They wanted those babies gone. Maybe some dealers will just place them on hold until the recall is done?

Well no Forza home yet - just a windshield.

Sounds like a good deal. I paid full retail for my Forza (but with no destination or setup or whatever-they-call-it-today fees). I didn't shop around because I've been buying from the same dealer for 30 years and they take good care of me service-wise.

Yes - I prefer a good Honda dealer close by. He didn't have a red 2013 left when I bought my PCX or I would have got it there too.
