So its pretty much accepted that ABS for bikes will become mandatory, even in Yorkshire.
Sorry that link seems broken, I'll try again.
What's to be worried about anyway?
ABS might save your sorry miserable arse one day.
Ah, I see what you mean now.

I was worried that it was a fact

It's pretty much accepted that it will happen but the fat lady isn't singing just yet.

My father-in-law bought a GTS300 in plum. It's beautiful. Much, much larger than the PCX though. Even if I wanted one, I can't afford that now though, Vespas are costly. :|

Your father in law is clearly a man of taste.
The price isn't too bad here, PCX list price is £2500, you can now get a Vespa 300 for £3800 which is cheaper than the S-wing 125 ABS list price.

The movie Dodgeball spoiled Vespas for me.

I couldn't get one without losing any shred of remaining respect that I have with the family

"jump on it"

I've never seen that movie.
Wouldn't make any odds to me, I don't give a toss what anyone thinks of the vehicles I choose.

Think Waldorf and Statler and you probably wouldn't be far wrong.
