Not sure where mine was built (not checked) but the real issue should be are recent PCX's less reliable than those made circa '13 - not seeing evidence of that but only going by posts on here. Perhaps it's due to the popularity of this forum and new members only having owned a recent model that any issues show up more - small percentage that it is.
What I would like to see is if someones bikes has major issues or the delear just doesn't want to know, we can hand it over and get our money back (bit like with electronic devices in the US where people seem to be able to use it for a time, find something wrong or they do not like it and hand it back - well, with camera's that seems to be the case as three forums I'm part of show that happens alot).

Maybe different years and different areas have different countries of origin.
