Good for you for being honest and posting the truth about Chinese bikes. Nothing against China, I would never purchase an American built Motorcycle either ! Even though what you said is absolutely obvious, some people are not smart enough to see the obvious. It is also far to easy to talk and post garbage in forums with no consequences, hiding behind a screen and never having to look people in the face. For the price of a new Chinese bike, you can get used Honda or Yamaha in like new condition. I make it a point to call out bad advice, and inaccurate information whenever I see it.
The only brands I would consider for a scooter are Honda, Yamaha, and Suzuki. In looking at these brands, the Forza is the only one I really like, the rest are just to big, or to small.

There is huge variation in the quality control of Chinese bikes, some are acceptable, others are downright lethal junk.
To dismiss all Chinese bikes as rubbish is just daft, some are quite good.
It was the same when Japanese brands were first on the go, they were derisorily dismissed as "Jap crap" by die-hard brit bikers.
The British motorcycle industry has all but collapsed, only Triumph remain and they're mostly built in Thailand.
Same could happen to Japan.

I would NEVER say this will hold into the future, as in a few years, the world can change. China could get even better, and Japan could go into decline... So my comments are for buying a Scooter right now, as things will change in over the years. But right now, I would not touch any of the Chinese brands with a 10 foot pole. Even at 1/2 the price or less, I would not consider any Chinese bike. I will just fork over the cash for the last 2016 Forza ever built....
Given only a 3 year production run, I hope parts are not hard to find in the future. Maybe they will keep selling the Forza in Asia ???

One more reason not buy Chinese is they have stolen all their technologies from Great Britain and America where as the Japanese did not.

This last comment made me laugh out loud.
For sure Japan has passed pretty much everybody in product development and quality for decades with their Kaizen, Kanban, lean manufacturing and just on time supply chain management, until lately some euro bikes came to the stadium (BMW KTM etc) but initially they have started industrial manufacturing by copying everyone but mainly American and German products which they captured or received as technology transfer respectively.

I see both Honda and Yamaha are scrambling to build their bikes of shore in the the markets with the highest demand
China has a different attitude as they have the highest demand
if they protect their market they have time to perfect their products at the same time selling sometimes iffy products worldwide cheap

The Chines are smart.... You cant blame the Chinese for protecting their own interests.. The Chinese have outsmarted the political hacks running the western world.
