Taz wrote:I got mine 5 days after ordering which is unheard of since I am in a remote part of the world. Usually things take 2 to 3 weeks or longer. I believe Maddie here had fast delivery to the US. Maybe you can send them an email in French. Europeans often take a long christmas break unlike the short USA break.

Haildamage you are missing a few dollars worth of industry standard trim you can source anywhere. If I was same same and saw your writings I would be procrastinating and delaying with you as long as possible. There are good ways and bad ways of dealing with people on both sides and I suspect english is not that good at same same. If you feel that strongly can you lodge a paypal dispute?

You can also buy Ermax off eBay from 'Destocnet' such as http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/280610635933 ... 1423.l2649

At least you get eBay/Paypal protection though I havent purchased from them.
I contacted "destocnet" through eBay and just got a reply on my shipping cost question: 60 Euros shipping ADDED to the item cost! That's $83.25 for shipping! Wow. I'm still waiting for my screen that I ordered March 20th from redracing in Italy. Running out of patience.

Dust, I hope you're able to find a resolution soon. I have to give the Givi 323 (and sporttour.com as the retailer) a thumbs up. If the Ermax situation falls through, I recommend that solution!

Yes, sorry that kills it for me too. I assume your shipping cost would be somewhere around 50 or 60 euros. I know air postage isn't cheap!

Well --- after waiting, and waiting, .......and waiting, my Ermax from Italy, supposedly shipped on April 20th, has not arrived. Red Racing emailed me yesterday and said they will send me a refund check. So -- "the check is in the mail". Right.
In the meantime, I'm going to order from Silverstone in France. I hope to have it by mid June. And .. as nice as the communication has been with RedRacing, I'm never going to trust the Italian mail service again. :?

In the words of the old "Life of Riley" show, ---What a revoltin' development this is! Having given up on Redracing, I ordered the Ermax from Silverstone. Right after they processed my order and payment, I got a email telling me that due to the high cost of air shipment to the USA ( 150 EUR, they say ), they were cancelling the order and they immediately refunded my money. So -- I bit the bullet hard and ordered from same same. Their total cost was 92.64 EUR, including 31.10 EUR shipping. Now my fingers are crossed again, hoping to actually get this elusive screen before my scoot turns to dust. One would think that since the PCX has been around awhile some USA suppliers would handle this stuff.

A ( hopefully ) happy update: Same same sent me a tracking number today! It appears that my Ermax has actually been shipped, only 1 day after I ordered it! If true -- Vive la french!!!

Some good news ( I hope ). The Colissimo Poste service says that my Ermax arrived in the USA on May 26th. That's pretty fast. So if the "overworked" U.S. Customs can get it processed I may actually have it next week. At least same same shipped quickly.

WOW!! I ordered my Ermax on May 21st. It arrived today, just 8 days later!! Included is the trim and the little "protection" shield. I'll post some pics after I get it installed --- while I have the front pieces off I'm going to install a 12v outlet inside the glovebox. I figure I can see where I'm drilling better with the screen and other pieces out of the way.
No refund from Redracing as yet --- that money may be lost for good.

I can report SUCCESS!! I finally got around to installing my new Ermax +25 today, plus a 12v outlet in the "glovebox". I wanted to get it done sooner but this dratted yard keeps wanting to be mowed. Anyway --- I'm still impressed that same-same got my Ermax to me in 8 days. Kudos to them. While the patient was open was a good time for the 12v outlet. Attached are some photos of the outlet install plus the Ermax in place. The black trim is hanging down in one of the pix -- I'm letting the glue set up for a day before I trim it.
Also included pix of my Navigon GPS ( which I was going to sell but not now ) on the RAM EZ Strap mount. The RAM base also fits my HTC phone so the outlet can do double duty. I wired it to the main relay -- it only works with the ignition on so I don't drain the battery. I was going to take a ride to test the wind with the Ermax, but it's raining ---- again. Maybe maƱana.
