This is an inescapable fact.

Utterly fantastic, well done, pat yourself on the back

Well, my mom has changed her mind which I am not surprised. She either was reluctant when she made this deal or she plan to lie to me when she saw I was serious to buy the thing. Because my dad suddenly bailed out on the promise so I have no idea why we spent the whole afternoon motorcycle shopping.

So now I get nothing except an empty promise to get a sports car instead. My dad can afford it, it's just whether he will go through with it. I would rather crash my used Honda Reflex than a new sports car. My dad will kill me if I crashed the sports car so I rather crash on the motorcycle and destroy something cheaper or maybe I will die so I will not have to live to regret it.

I just watched Billy Joel perform this song live on a Special "12/12/12, A Concert For Sandy Relief." We had a devastating "perfect storm" this past October, hurricane Sandy. The show is still on as I type.
Hearing this song "You May Be Right" made me think of this thread's discussion. JetFalcon, whatever the turnout is, whatever wheels you ride, be careful. Sometimes our parents know us better than we know ourselves. You are young, time Is on your side.....to ride.

I'm beginning to appreciate why mom is concerned. Even at 24, you might not be ready to ride. You have to have a level of maturity to ride safely and I'm not convinced.

I'm 24 too. I just bought my second house, and have been financially independent since I was 18. I'm not unusual or extraordinary in any way either.

I'm closing this thread, per the forum rule "All members are expected to act as adults and treat each other as adults." and hope that you're just trolling.
