Not an environmentalist eh?
Looks very much like you're no mathematician either...
WTF
Are you making fun of me in front of the entire PCX-forum? What is your mission to write stupid things about other members? You don`t know me at all and you have no rights to start bullying other members! If you for some reason can`t stay to the case, then keep away. In my eyes it looks stupid when you write derogatory things in this forum!
Last, but not least:
If you don`t have money in your pocket, and suddenly "find" 10 buks on the street, haven`t you then ten times more than before? LOL!
LOL!

Since this thread seems to have gotten all about idle-stop, I'm curious if any of the US riders have attempted to just use the kill switch and tapping the start button as a manual "idle stop" to any decent mileage impact? Enjoyed the link to the French review site that gn2 offered. Curious if anyone else tested this out?
Traffic lights in our area can be about 3min or so, but I also seem to hit a fair amount of backed up traffic where I'm sitting even longer. I've killed the motor on occasion, just to enjoy the quiet and no rumbling like others have posted. If I saw that it actually had some gas mileage impact, I might try it more often!

PCX Commuter, I do that regularly if traffic is bad. I get *slightly* better than average mpg, but have the tall Givi windshield, so I'm not sure how much impact it has.

The headlights goes out if you hit the kill switch. I lower the sidestand very briefly, which will also kill the engine, but leaves the headlight on.

That's a really practical solution

Fantastic! Great idea on the side stand. We'll call it the "Side-Stand-Swipe US Idle Stop" feature.
Someone send that up to Honda marketing!

I'll give it a shot on my drive home.

Disadvantage we have is that you have to hit the starter button before you hit the gas. The rest of the world just hits the gas when the light turns green.
