Chucktuna, I live about 40 miles west of Chicago. I'm surprised that Chicago isn't number one on that list. You don't go a day without hearing about someone getting shoot. Although being 40 miles away, my little suburb is fairly quiet.

I guess it all depends how you count it up.
St Louis always seems to make these crime lists (usually well deserved) but the local media always play it off that the population of St Louis proper is very low compared to the total area population, so per capital it looks bad.
Of course there are daily/nightly shootings in north StLouis and I never scoot there.

I don't blame you. I will never go to Chicago with my scooter. Although I love the St. Louis Zoo and the museums, but getting through the MO side is pretty hairy. We were last down there a year ago Labor day. I have family that live in Mascoutah, IL.

Thanks for the welcome, there are lots of expat PCX owners in Udon, and has a club run by a guy called Finn.
