Re: show your PCX
Mel,
No, none what so ever! The little hog / piglet screamed 65mph going up and over the mountain pass! I had a great time! It was a 125 mile loop and I don't remember having any mpg drop.

Re: show your PCX
Yours is a 2017, correct? Can anyone here confirm that the 2015 only had a single shock?? I can't imagine why Honda would do that, especially since every other year, including the 2017 has two shocks.

Can't see it. They wouldn't have two then one and go back to two. The website must be incorrect.

I have two (2) shocks, I just counted them.
Incidentally, I think the 2017 is called a 2016 in Europe. I saw that here somewhere.

All PCX prior to (2015 and a few last minute 14's) are faster than whats sold stock today. They really put the brakes on the drivetrain for some unknown reason. That '12' has wings

Re: show your PCX
Was the 2012 considered the 2013? We purchased one of our 2013s in August of 2012. That was the first year they had the 150cc. Dave's 2011 was a 125cc.

Re: show your PCX

still haven't taken mine on a long ride.
Went to Honda Service today for my first oil change (1000kms). It just took them 5 minutes, stamped my book and let me go for $4. Quite disappointing that they didn't even take some time to drain entirely the old oil. No check at all.
Everything looks better from the inside of a motorcycle helmet...

Re: show your PCX
Probably did you a favor, if they're that lame you don't want them monkey's inside your bike. Look at the bright side your warranty card is current. Find a manual or ask in here for the check list and get after it yourself maybe?alx123 wrote: Went to Honda Service today for my first oil change (1000kms). Re: show your PCX
I agree, I have no problem maintaining it myself after. it's the maintenance stamp in my book I'm after though. Now I'm thinking if it's even worth it.homie wrote:Probably did you a favor, if they're that lame you don't want them monkey's inside your bike. Look at the bright side your warranty card is current. Re: show your PCX
Short of catastrophic engine or electrical failure (no record in here of such) I would say extended warranties are arguably not needed on PCX especially if you are mechanically enclined and sometimes if you are not.alx123 wrote:I agree, I have no problem maintaining it myself after. it's the maintenance stamp in my book I'm after though. However 4Z has a totally different service history that would have me buying warranties for as long as possible.
