Many times. They always have excuses. Some valid, but most don't make much sense.
Their latest is "covid-19. Can't let the kids get exposed to it so we both need to stay at home ."
Ok, so why did he go to the golf course to play a couple of rounds? Oh, that's right...he is protecting the kids by going to a public course to play with his buddies. Huh??

Yesterday I was loading the rented moving truck yesterday and we were surprised when a neighbor paid a lawn service to come over and cut our lawn. Many of our neighbors are as old or older than we are, so they can't help us load the truck. Getting the lawn cut was a great morale booster for us though.
We had been looking at it in discust as it grew a foot in most places (some higher than that). Our lawn mower is broken (waiting for parts) so we could only wish it would stop growing. I have to say that even if the lawn mower worked, we are exhausted.
Then someone ordered a pizza for us!
On the minus side, NONE of the "helpers" we offered to pay $20/hr to come and help us, showed up. I can't figure out if people just don't need money, or if they are just lazy. We will just keep going by ourselves and try to find help again in a couple of days. Right now the truck is loaded all the way to the lift door, so we have to unload that before we come back and try to figure out how to carry the major, bulky furniture to the truck. No refrigerator, but we do have living room furniture, washer, dryer, and two bedrooms of furniture left. Ugh!

Got out for a ride and checked out an old abandoned warehouse in the rural area of Duncan.
Some busy artists in the area. Special day as I rolled 58,000km

Bro, that's awesome. I love that kind of thing. Old and abandoned places get my blood flowing.

Ran off to Victoria today, beautiful overcast cool day. Not many bikes out but then it is a workday for most people. Work has been slow due to post covid issues. Love the fact I can ride all day for 10.00 in fuel. Rolled over the 59,000km mark. Did 280km for the day. The geese were so cool to watch. Amazing how they talk to one another.

Bought this Honda Jazz back in 2011, had 350km on it. Rode it for three years and ran it up to 26,000km when I sold it to a friend of mine.
Now he has a PCX 150 2013 so he wants me to sell it for him. Had to take it for a spin. Does it ever bring back memories. It’s now at 32490km and still runs great!

Forty years ago when things got skinny I was planting trees in Toba inlet at 4 cents a tree You had to plant 1500 to make $60 a day 31 days straight =$1860. My rain gear wore a hole on my right arm and I got a staph infection now there are 8 million Canadians collecting CERB $2000 a month just to hide from covid
Hope I planted enough trees back then to cover the costs of the new crowd
It’s a dock that receives shipping sea cans from freighters.
So I guess it is a kind of Mullbery?
Sea cans?
"Sea can
This is one of the more common references to a shipping container. It’s thought they are referred to in this way for their ability to withstand the elements when out on the high seas."
Need to get out riding again when seeing these pictures!
Although just been diagnosed with, and i'm using a translator for this - inguinal hernia - which is causing a lot pain for the past 2 months but didn't want to consult my Dr. because of this pandemic raging (Mrs. or Mr Covid is not welcome in my house).
Better stay home and 'safe' even with a lot of pain because of my intestines apparently coming out where they should not be... Maybe my low-side adventure a while ago has something to do with this...
Next time I'll ride I'll take some pictures of the harbour which is basically my backyard (I see these relatively 'huge' container vessels pass by everyday from my bedroom :p)
Impression of one of these ships passing by everyday:
This picture seems to be taken actually a couple of kms from my house. Must get out soon. Riding!
