"Over and Over" - Dave Clark Five
This band was quite popular for a while . . .. They even did a movie called "Having a Wild Weekend" (a.k.a. "Catch Us If You Can").
And "Catch Us If You Can" which I still have on 45 RPM. Wow! Life is indeed short . . . seems like yesterday.

When I hear the name Gordon Lightfoot this comes to mind. It was released right around the time I headed out to Colorado on my Yamaha 650.
"The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald" - Gordon Lightfoot
I also had John Denver's "Rocky Mountain High" circulating in my brain going across the Colorado plains on Rt. 36 (a diversion off Rt. 70 for awhile) heading to the Rockies. As we approached Denver the mountains illuminated from the bright sunshine in the distance.
I'll never forget the sign saying "Last Chance" . . . a town along the way amidst the rolling plains. It made me wonder why they named it that.
"Rocky Mountain High" - John Denver
