liked this one when rolling down the highway in the old days. I guess I still do.



Of course this one was best for backroads with the windows up and car full of smoke. They were the first rock band I saw in concert.

JFK was big on physical fitness in the early 60's. Remember the 50 mile hike? The Council on Physical Fitness? :geek:

When Steppenwolf adopted this Hoyt Axton tune and teamed up with a couple dudes making a biker movie
the effect was a space in time that still bites

For Mr. John Robert Lewis . . . the boy from Troy as Dr. King would refer to him.

As I watched him cross the bridge one more time I felt this song was one he probably knew all to well back in the day.
