Does anyone know the dimensions for the PCX drain plug? It's a 2019, though I don't think that should matter. Looking for diameter and pitch, primarily. Thinking of installing a Fumoto valve.

Install a Stahlbus valve, not fumoto, I tried both. The fumoto sticks out too much. I’ll look at my notes for size.

M12 x 1.5 is what you want

The only problem with those quick drain valves is the size of the drain hole. In the case of the stahlbus the ball valve only opens a tiny bit. Albeit enough to flow oil but does it allow a good flow or flush allowing the elimination of bigger particles. On a scooter I don't think it matters that much but on a car or vehicle I think a larger opening would allow more velocity and pass bigger particles to the drain pan.Just a thought.

It is just a thought. They work just fine.

Here you go you you, a 15 litre Cummins, when I pull the drain plug have to deal with 44 litres of hot oil pronto.
The drain valve makes that easier to manage.

Since i had the the bike, the truck and the camera all together at one time, thought I may as well include this photo.

Not only a thought its a restriction in the drain port.You are reducing velocity of flow and reducing the diameter by 75 percent in some cases .This smaller drain opening inhibits the removal of larger particles.They may allow the draining of liguid oil just fine but while leaving larger contaminants behind.Make sure you use a good oil filter when using this type of valve.I dont think its a big deal however on a small scooter engine
