This coulda' worked out fine.
Just in cases - I took the Michelins.


Didn't take long to discover I'd not put in my earplugs.
Pulled over to put them in ….and got a better look at the distant skies.


This is going to be interesting.

I am not you, but I would head home if I saw clouds like that. Did the Wicked Witch of the West come down from the clouds, or did she just send her flying monkeys to dump water on everyone?

Rain is bad enough . . ..

Wind and hail are the real demons to deal with. :roll:
