Excellent post WN!

Wow indeed!!!

I hope Honda continues to import the new Super Cub 125 to North America.

They should if they continue to sell. Most dealerships never saw one on the first wave of distribution. TBH I'd rather pour $4K into something like that than a Grom. Life is strange . . . tons of Groms on showroom floors . . . but barely a Super Cub to be had.

Granted they don't have the stowage capacity or performance of a PCX 150 but they do stand out in the crowd and nostalgia freaks dig them immensely. Besides, you can always get the luggage rack and a top box and enjoy life flying solo. Or, enjoy life making it look like something from Bike Week at Daytona.

Whomever put the time and $$ into the one in those pics did a most excellent job . . . radical man! 8)

Lately I've been looking at more Super Cub videos. They do entertain the thought of getting one. If I can gather 80,000 bottles and cans with a nickle deposit each I think I can afford it.

One thing for sure is Honda can boast about it being the most popular selling vehicle the planet has ever seen. There's just something about that design. . .. 8)

Found this video. Sort of a "Town Meeting" approach to the pros and cons of the new Super Cup 125. One tall coffee recommended before you begin. These guys can talk and talk and talk and talk some more . . ..

Absolutely hideous.
Whole point of a Cub is practicality and that monstrosity is anything but.

Corbin makes custom aftermarket seats for the new Super Cub 125 . . ..

Supposedly they offer more surface area than the stock one. I think they will sell a lot of them if they do indeed offer more comfort for taller riders. Seating is believing.

The Cub Is A scooter, isn't it???

That one uses a chain instead of a belt. I don't see how that would work.

Technically it's a motorcycle but Honda has made up a product classification called "miniMOTO". It consists of the Monkey, Grom, and new Super Cub 125.

Since you shift it without using a clutch and it has some leg shield protection it's sort of like a scooter. Call it what you like . . . it's all good. :D

I like it! It's got that classier modded look. Sophisticated. Clean. Nice paint, chrome too. Yes, I see the chain. I agree Looks odd. But....part of K-Speed's endeavor.
Would I want to own it? Yes, if I were a collector. Not happening, me pockets don't match theirs.

However, I am pleased to share their photos with you
You must admit, It is Unique. Jeff Goldblum sez so :D

Backing up a bit...At first glimpse My Eyes thought it was a modded Vespa. Yeah, Truth. Did you see that?

Practical or not, I love the looks of it. Wondering what the Mod's added to the original price.
Beauty!

ALL scooters ARE motorcycles.

It has a normal gearbox instead of a CVT.
