The PCX 150 sold in Thailand uses what seems to me a little bit old technology as headlamps, I think. The lights have conventional incandescent bulbs, not the H4 type (halogen). They are usable, but not what I would call bright. I've never seen or had a bike here with more modern headlights. And I've had many bikes over the years. The same models usually come with halogen as standard elsewhere (even in Vietnam), so why not here?

Well, I am living almost next door to the guys of "Power by PCX" and they offer a Xenon Set. I was interested in it about 3 months ago, at that time it went for 10,000 Baht. A week ago I passed by the shop and asked for the upgrade. Now the price is 11,000 Baht and in addition 500 Baht for labour. It is NOT a replacement unit, they keep your old light unit and modify it to accommodate the Xenon stuff. I must say, the normal headlights of the PCX are quite sufficient and I don't consider the "upgrade" as being worthwhile.

Wow that sucks. Those look like the tail light bulb. I find the stock US version lights adequate.
