It has been cooling down in the Seattle area and we've got a slight chance of snow over the next few days. I'm still riding occasionally, and I hope to pick up our turkey using the scooter. I wonder how big a turkey you can fit in the under seat storage?

I won't ride when it is snowing or close to freezing since I don't want to take a chance with finding a patch of ice. That said, it is rare to go much longer than a week below freezing here. We'll put it on the trickle charger if we don't get out for a few weeks. Add fuel stabilizer if we're not filling the tank up frequently enough. Haven't needed to do either yet :)

Actually, it was pretty warm today, no problems with cold hands unlike earlier this week. I'm still gonna shop for muffs though.

50s and 60s F here. ride all rear round but have to be careful about altitude for winter touring, so we try to do coastal touring.

i am wondering if the PCX can handle a heated jacket? i think maybe the alternator output is a bit over 300 watts? i have the honda heated grips which are a bit weak compared to the ones on the other bikes i've had!

It's rather mild out around London, but I went into Kent this morning and it got rather foggy.

It's not often I take the PCX out for a spin just for the hell of it, it's mostly a commuting/shopping workhorse, but it's something I'll be doing more often, it's just so much fun and so relaxing :D

I'm up in Pennsylvania visiting family, it's the same temperature all the way up here as it was down in Georgia! It was below freezing this morning though. Maddie's sister Sophie didn't approve, and refused to go outside. I had to toss her out.

On way in to work on nightshift and it's 10 deg C. And that's the North of Scotland. This time last year we were under about 6 inches of snow! Long may it last. No rush to lock PCX up for winter.

got really warm again here for the next few days so no chance to try the heated jacket yet. alternator has a max output of 308 watts from my research so that should be fine for using the jacket at higher speeds if i turn it off when i stop every time. i'm used to doing that anyway as my DRZ has a crap electrical system.

i will report back on my results once ive tested it thoroughly.

4.5 celsius on the way into work this morning. Was at about 8am. I was in the car though I take my car now Wednesday's and Sundays and rest of week use the bike. I'll probly stop using the bike sometime next week though and leave it for the winter. So glad I got a car just in time and don't have to get the bus in the freezing cold :)

It finally got cold here now. It's about 4 degrees C here too (a bit over 40F). I sold my CR-V, so I would have had to take the scooter, but I'm home sick. I've got a nasty headcold and lost my voice. My wife's amused though, I've been using the built-in text to speech thing in Windows 7 to talk.

HAHAHA! Thats great! Good to hear about the CR-V. Mind if I ask how much you got for it? I sold mine for $4250 but it had a nasty dent in the front bumper.

Currently, we've been having a warm streak. Well over average temperatures. about 65 during the day and 55 at night. Last week the high was around 55 and low around 40. I've been getting lucky =]

$4400 for it, 1998 automatic 150k mi, tow kit and aftermarket brush guard.

We had temperatures like that last week, then it froze Sunday night and hasn't warmed up since. :(

NICE! Sounds good. Mine was the 1999 5 speed manual, with real time 4WD, and an aftermarket tow package. 105k on the odo. If it weren't for that bumper Im sure I would have gotten 5 grand plus, but It was $3-500 in cosmetic damage I never got around to fixing, and we needed to sell the car quick. That was my first car... loved it.

Sorry to hear you're feeling ill, hope you start feeling better!

My mom had to scrape ice off her car this morning, so the PCX is now officially put to bed for winter. I dont have a trickle charger, but i do have a regular battery charger. I was told at the dealership to just start the bike once a week and leave it running for about 20 minutes. If its not icy in the middle of the day on my days off work ill ride it round my street a few times (i live on a crescent). Ive only been riding 7 months and its scary enough in the rain, i dont wanna risk hitting black ice at all. Looks like i got a car sorted JUST in time :)

I should add that im on about 2200 miles now so i will probably take it for the 2500 mile service straight away in spring, so they can replace all the fluids that were sitting in there over winter.
