I just asked the GL's* in my coffee shop, "You guys didn't have the heat on in your cars this morning, did you?!!"
They all looked at me standing there in my helmet, and at my red, runny nose - and at each other - "No, no, not me, me neither, no - nope no heat!"

"Thank you", I said.

48°F in August?? Really??

Right now we woke up to 68° this morning, but thunderstorms are coming. Our usual for this month has been in the 75 - 80° F at 6 a.m. then it climbs. We have seen 100° days with 70% humidity. On those days it is hard to breathe, especially when you are doing something other than standing around. In my case, I was cutting grass a lot of that time. Man, was it exhausting!

The 48 degrees F. is a bit extreme for this early but we finally got some cooler weather in my neck of the woods also . . ..

Today was in the 70's and it will probably be around 60 F. tonight.

Relief is spelled "cool".

I could really notice it when I took a waterfront ride this afternoon. Much more enjoyable. :D
