To ride or not to ride . . . that is the question.
And, it's a "Full Harvest Moon" as well.
Things could get tricky. It's a rare ocurrance. Won't be another one for decades . . ..
I think I'll ride.
Be careful out there!

Took a ride around the waterfront at dusk.
The moon looked "orangish" . . ..
It will be 30 more years before the Harvest Moon shines on Friday the 13th. Hope I live to see it. It's possible . . ..
That said I would have gone back for my camera but there were too many damn tourists/cars taking the same route. The last couple of years there's been a lot more traffic at sunset. It makes it difficult to just pull over and get a good uninterrupted shot of the moon rising over the water. The area used to be more relaxed and "lay back" after school season started but not any more. A lot of the Summer homes have been "Winterized" and more people are living along the shore areas 'year round. I miss the solitude.

So the Harvest Moon rose a little higher in the sky and I was able to get a pic from my house. Much brighter/whiter now . . ..
The image is of the moon and the streetlight with some trees on the horizon.
Not that clear of an image but I wasn't getting into setting aperture and shutter speeds. I let it go automatic.

Good try OldG! You gave it a go. I can see it!
Me, I almost forgot to take a look out tonight but then did so on commercial "Git yer arse up!"
Heavens above I saw a full "white" moon, not orange not yellow, not even a mix I guess I was late to the party.
Alls good. We got through another Friday the 13th!
