Has anyone upgraded their front brake disc to a 260mm with the caliper bracket. They have them on web bike Japan. Is braking noticeability improved with this?

I haven't seen any rear disc conversion kits out there. Rear brake is fine imo..Loht Bai wrote:Is it possible to convert the rear drum brake to a disc brake on a PCX 150? Are there drum-brake to disc-brake conversion kits for sale?
On webike it says what model parts are for. Each model has designation for fitment of parts. My pcx is the first version 2010 125 codenamed jf28. Other subsequent models have diff codes... I think you can see your code stamped on your engine case underneath, fairly easily accessible.Mel46 wrote:If I were going to just change the pads and fluid, aside from the Honda ones, if I wanted better pads how would I know if they would fit the oem brake assembly?

Other subsequent models have diff codes like Esp 125 is JF28-11 because it came out in 2011 replacing the 2010 model. The first Esp 150 model was KF12 and then they were adding years at the end of those codes. I think you can see your code stamped on your engine case underneath, fairly easily accessible. Either way,i just had a quick look on Webike and seems all front pads between models are interchangeable. All are similarly priced and few to choose from. I don't think i saw NCY brake pads, didn't browse thru all 8 pages of brakes parts...Pcxdemon wrote:On webike it says what model parts are for. Each model has designation for fitment of parts. By the look of it,id say 26,000 miles?Mel46 wrote:I pulled the brake pads from my wife's bike yesterday and was surprised. I had planned on changing them, since the bike has 13,000 miles on it. The pads only look like they are half way down! Here is a picture. New one is on the left.
If they are still good, how long do these pads last?!
